SPUR Weekly Update!
Updated September 10, 2002Renovations are underway! Check back every Wednesday for an update on the construction along with progress photos! Previous weeks' photos and updates are included as part of the SPUR photo diary. The full diary will be available on CD at the end of the project.

My apologies for not captioning pictures. If you have trouble identifying what the picture shows, the picture file names are fairly descriptive.
What's happened this past week
The kitchen equipment has been mostly installed, including fire suppression, stainless steel walls, counters and appliances. Men's head has been tiled, grouted and fixtures partially installed. Front stairs railing was assembled. Hardwood flooring was started. The pit floor was tiled. Painting continued on the first floor and second floor hall. Window hardware was mostly installed. Crown moulding and baseboard installation was started. The new fire alarm system was completed.Second floor personal room furniture was set up and actives moved their stuff into those rooms.
What's happening this coming week
Occupancy should happen Thursday or Friday!Kitchen and Men's Head will be finished. Hard wood flooring work will continue. Pit Proper will be grouted. Women's Head will get tiled. First floor rooms will be painted and start being opened up for occupancy.
