• The drop ceiling will be removed. The crumbling ceiling above it will be restored.
• The faux wood panelling on the walls will be removed. In its place, will be finished wallboard with wainscoting on the lower half of the wall.
• The tile mosaic around the fireplace will be restored
• The currently broken fireplace liner will repaired or replaced.
• The parquet flooring, as in the rest of the house, will be replaced with hardwood flooring.
• The sprinkler pipes inside the drop ceiling will be moved to the side wall.
