One of the main instigators of SPUR was the poor condition of the windows. They were drafty and some were falling apart. SPUR restored and replaced them as needed.

Additionally, the front dormer windows had lost their historical forms in previous window replacements. One window was missing its sashes while housing an air conditioner during the summer. These were restored to their historical forms.
