Introduction

In 2002, the ETheta Corporation undertook the first major renovation of the chapter house in nearly 40 years. After providing a home to hundreds of students, the house was showing its age. The SPUR project replaced windows in the house, repaired the foundation, modernized the electrical system, and restore the house's historic grandeur.

The renovations would not have been possible without the help of hundreds of alumni. From contributing time and money to support the fundraising campaign, the Campaign for 259, to planning and carrying out the renovations alumni contributed thousands of person hours and hundreds of thousands of dollars to the project.

This diary is an attempt to document a summary of the project and the changes made to the house as part of the renovations. It also is a thank you to all of the contributors that made the project possible.
